Kicking off the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, a monumental MMA (mixed martial arts) event, UFC Freedom 250 will be the first professional live sporting event to take place on the grounds of the White House.
Taking place on Sunday, June 14, a total of seven fights will be held. UFC President Dana White has said that 4,300 military personnel will be watching on the South Lawn, and 85,00 tickets will be free for the public at Ellipse Park.

This stacked card includes the highly anticipated Lightweight main event with Ilia Topuria, the current undefeated UFC Lightweight Champion. Topuria’s title will be defended against Justin Gaethji, the two-time interim UFC Lightweight champion.
The co-main event of this matchup will be Heavyweight Alex Pereira, the former two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and former UFC Middleweight Champion’s adaptability will be put to the test as he faces Cyril Gane, who hopes to reclaim the interim title and cement himself as a top ranked contender.
Other fights include Sean O’malley vs Aiemann Zahabi (Bantamweight), Mauricio Ruffy vs Micheal Chandler (Lightweight), Bo Nickal vs Kyle Daukaus (Middleweight), Diego Lopes vs Steve Garcia (Featherweight), and Josh Hokit vs Derrick Lewis (Heavyweight).
Each of the 14 fighters were brought together on May 8, 2026 for a press conference promoting the upcoming event. The full roster took turns answering questions from the media, but things took a turn as Josh Hokit sparked a heated exchange with Ilia Topuria and Alex Pereira, furthering the true tension amongst these fighters.
For over a month compelling match-ups have set the stage for the UFC Freedom 250 to be a memorable night for both fans and fighters as we wait for the octagon to shine under the bright lights of sports entertainment.
