A decade after releasing 24k Magic in 2016, Bruno Mars has made a comeback by releasing his fourth solo studio album, “The Romantic.” The 9-track record marks his first full-length solo effort since 2016, and features the major hit single, “I Just Might,” blending a 70s-inspired style of soul, funk, and Latin influence.

COMPASS Assistant Principal Ms. Moreland mentioned, ‘“I Just Might” is a jam! Quintessential Bruno Mars. Pure joy. I would definitely be open to seeing him again. I’ve been to so many concerts but Bruno’s was one of the best. He’s so entertaining!”
“I Just Might” debuted in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 on January 9, 2026, marking his 10th number one hit.
Prior to this album release, Bruno Mars has engaged in several collaborations since 2016. The most notable one is the making of “An Evening With Silk Sonic” with Anderson .Paak in 2021, as well as, “Please Me,” with Cardi B in 2019 and “APT” with ROSÉ in 2024.
His collaboration with Lady Gaga, “Die With a Smile” broke a record as one of the fastest songs to reach one billion streams on Spotify. It had achieved this milestone in just over 90 days following its release on Aug. 16, 2024, spending eight weeks at number one on the Billboard Global 200.
A PEACE junior, Eva Zawalick, stated, “I like Bruno Mars, I think that the songs pull you in and keep you wanting to hear more and move with the music. What stood out to me was the Latin style rock music. I grew up on rock music and I’m Hispanic, so this album gave me a memory of my childhood.”
“The Romantic Tour” will be his first full stadium tour, starting April 10, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, running through Dec. 8, 2026 in Mexico City. You can find more available information on his official website brunomars.com regarding ticket prices and album dates.

I found this article to be super well written, explaining how it has been a decade since Bruno Mars released 24k Magic which was such a good album and then to release another amazing album a decade later. I think his song “I Just Might” is one of his best songs, and I like how you included how that song debuted in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. He’s had 10 songs on that list which is an amazing achievement. I really like how you interviewed COMPASS Assistant Principal Ms.Moreland and a PEACE Junior Eva Zawalick because it just added some depth to the article by hearing what people at our school have to say about his new album drop. I also like how you mentioned his collaboration he did with Lady Gaga which was “Die WIth A Smile” because I feel like everyone has heard that song because it has such a good tune to it. I also really like how you ended the article by providing some information about “The Romantic Tour” which he is going on starting April 10,2026. Overall, this article was super enjoyable to read and I really liked how you structured everything.
Sincerely,

On March 24, 2026, Jade Chuong E. and Wisdom Grace Lambkins published an article titled “Bruno Mars Decade-Long Comeback.” I really appreciated how clearly the article laid out Bruno Mars’ journey from 24K Magic to his newest album, The Romantic. The inclusion of specific milestones like “I Just Might” debuting in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 helped show just how significant this comeback truly is. I also liked the quotes from Ms. Moreland and Eva Zawalick, they added personality and showed how Bruno’s music resonates with different generations. One suggestion I have is to expand a bit more on the musical style of the album. The article mentions soul, funk, and Latin influences, but I would’ve loved a deeper explanation of how those sounds shape the overall vibe. Another advancement could be a brief comparison between The Romantic and his earlier albums to highlight how his artistry has evolved over the decade. I also had the question, did the reporters get a chance to listen to the full album themselves? It would be interesting to hear their personal reactions, especially since the article focuses heavily on public responses. Overall, though, the piece was engaging, informative, and well‑structured. It definitely made me more curious about the tour and the album.

The authors start with a personal testimony from Ms. Moreland. She talks about how she loves the album and how it’s another peak Bruno Mars album. Next, they talk about what Bruno Mars has done since his last album in 2016, he hasn’t completely disappeared, but hasn’t done too much. The writers mention that he made an album in 2021 with Anderson Paak, called “An Evening With Silk Sonic”. I believe that this was his best album because every song on that album was really good and there were no misses. They end the article by telling their audience that he is on tour and where they can get tickets. This helps promote Bruno Mars even further because maybe some people don’t know he is on tour, and they can go seen him before he retires.

Hooking the audience with a title of a comeback from Bruno Mars is a great introduction to the return of Bruno Mars’ solo album. With the prolonged solo debut yet very high influence in collaborations with many other artisits keeps him relevant in the music community. Along with stating all of Bruno Mars’ greatest hits in the past few years, bringing up that most of his solo songs hit the top 10 just shows how loved he is. I do think that the cover of the article should relate more to Bruno Mars like the truck with roses he put out to advertise his new album. This article was very well organized from introducing the singer to interviews right after. Additionally, having a picture of his top songs right next to the introduction of this information allows the audience to see proof of this statement.
With the interviews, it was perfect introducing a Latinx person who relates and enjoys his new music from his new album, as well as introducing a COMPASS staff who knows and works with art. Especially since they have been to his concert before. At the very end of the article they provide Bruno Mars’ official website for users to dive deeper into this topic they may find interesting.
In conclusion, this artilce was put together really well and introduced this topic perfectly to an audience. I do think seeing other opinions about Bruno Mars that may have a negative view of him. It would definitely be hard to find someone who dislikes Bruno Mars but it would be beneficial to stay unbiased view of his new songs. Overall a very good article that notifies the audience of how good Bruno Mars’ music is and how it affects his audience.

This article talks about Bruno Mars’ new album “The Romantic” featuring the major hit single “I Just Might”. As a Bruno Mars fan it was nice to see his music get recognized among all the major artists fighting for our attention. Chuong E. and Lambkins interviews COMPASS Assistant Principal Ms. Moreland who talks about how fun seeing Bruno in concert was for her. I myself wanted to go to this concert but missed the presale. Despite this I still want to try to go to one of his concerts when he comes to LA so I’m hoping that prices drop.
The article also mentions many of Bruno’s collaborations over the years including “An Evening with Silk Sonic”, “Please Me”, and “APT”. HIs most popular collaboration with Lady Gaga in 2024 “Die with a Smile” was one of the fastest songs to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify and I can remember playing that song on an endless repeat. Chuong E. and Lambkins also interviewed PEACE junior, Eva Zawalick, who said that she enjoys Bruno Mars’ latin style rock music because it reminds her of her own hispanic roots. This is also one of my favorite parts of his music since I am also hispanic but I also enjoy his upbeat songs and the way it makes you want to listen to more. Overall, this article makes me even more excited for “The Romantic Tour” coming up soon.

The structure of this article is excellent. I really enjoyed how they got perspectives from different people both older and younger generations. I feel that this thoroughly explains that the comeback of Bruno Mars can be attributed to his popularity amongst various age groups and not just from the younger generations. I also enjoyed how they interpreted Bruno Mars’ particular music style with how they pinpointed that he incorporated 70s, soul, funk, and latin. Otherwise, I would have liked to see more descriptions of what may have skyrocketed his popularity in the first place and why scientifically his music is extremely popular and appealing to numerous people. It would have improved the article if they would have included how his music creates new trends or rides with the present trends. Despite this, Chuong E. and Lambkins did an excellent job at giving a well rounded review and analysis of Mars’ popularity, comeback, and his musical career.

When the article mentions how Bruno Mars made his decade comeback, I like how the song 24k Magic (released in 2016) was included. 24k Magic was a music video that caught many listeners’ attention, so it was a great hook for the readers who are familiar with that popular song.
Although Bruno Mars is having a current comeback in the year 2026, I appreciate how you bring up his collaborations before his new album, “The Romantic.” For instance, the authors refer to the song “Please Me,” with Cardi B in 2019, and “An Evening With Silk Sonic” with Anderson .Paak in 2024. It was a great idea to bring up his accomplishments, so that the audience knows that Bruno Mars was still creating music even before his decade-long comeback.
I admire how the authors use two quotes from COMPASS Assistant Principal Ms. Moreland and A PEACE junior, Eva Zawalick. Using an opinion from a teacher and a student was a good idea because they both have different perspectives and experiences with Bruno Mars’ music, even though they both agreed that Bruno Mars is an extraordinary artist.

On March 24 2026, Jade Choung E. and Wisdom Grace Lambkins wrote an article titled “Bruno Mars Decade-Long Comeback”. It was very well written and gives the reader insight into the history of Bruno Mars’ Previous hits, his history, and why this album was such a big deal to his fan base. I enjoyed reading all of the quotes that were included in this article, as it felt like I was able to understand how other people were interpreting his music, and it showed me how people can listen to his music for different reasons and feel different ways because of it. The quotes not only allowed me to understand how people my age think about his new songs, but also how they perceive him as an artist and how they are inspired by him.
Additionally, I enjoyed reading about the statistics of his music and what place they were at with the “Hot 100” list. It helped me to understand just how popular these songs were, as well as how popular his previous songs were. These stats, working together with the explanation, really put his music into perspective for me, of just how popular and talented Bruno Mars truly is.
If I had to tweak one thing, it might be that the author should have gone into more depth about the actual album. There were a lot of really good quotes of people’s reactions to it, and a lot of information about his singles, but I would have loved it if this article had given me more information about the story behind the album, what it means, and why he had his comeback after a decade. This type of information feels important since the article is about the album, and as a Bruno Mars fan myself, this is the type of information I would be interested in learning. Besides that, wonderful job. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and would recommend it to my friends.
Sincerely,
Aidan Young

On March 24th, 2026, Jade Chuong E. and Wisdom Grace Lambkins wrote an article titled “Bruno Mars Decade-Long Comeback” This article remarks the return of Bruno Mars and the impact his newly released album, “The Romantic” has made upon his fans. This album has included many hit songs that have already hit the charts such as “I Just Might” and “Risk it All” making his fans want more.
To add on, Chuong and Lambkins have taken on from the viewpoints of Mar’s fans as they interview Ms. Moreland, COMPASS’s assistant principal, highlighted how she really enjoyed listening to “I Just Might” and it made her want to see him live again. Along with the fact that she has been to many concerts but Bruno’s was the best since he’s so entertaining. Chuong and Lambkins also interviews Eva Zawalick, a PEACE junior at Millikan, and she views this new album as a, “Memory from my childhood” as she goes over the fact that she enjoys seeing that mix of Latin style music and rock since that’s what she grew up around as she was growing up.
On the whole, this article was very enjoyable and relatable to read since I also am a fan of Bruno Mars and his recent album, along with all of the songs that were mentioned. Moreover, a suggestion I would have for this article is maybe including some of the changes and differences of his past music from over the decades and how it has changed to his current music and how fans have reacted towards that. Overall, I really enjoyed reading about how people have reacted towards this new album and see how it either differed or was the same as mine.

I really love how this article provides the details of his new album and the different achievements he has received because of it. I also like how this article provides interviews from real fans to build credibility. I personally love his new album and really wish I got tickets since he is such an icon. I can’t wait to see what his concert is gonna look like and see what songs he is gonna perform. I also really love how his new album has some latin influences in the songs. I can’t wait to see my friend’s stories when they are at the concert. He has brought so many people together through his music and is so well known. His songs had helped shape my childhood and I can’t wait to see what he achieves next.

I highly enjoyed this article and I found it so connecting as an audience that I immediately clicked on it to read. This article truly captures the background of Bruno Mars’ past and along with how he has built his foundation up all these years to make a phenomenal comeback. Personally, I had gone to his 24k Magic World Tour back in 2017, and I was so in love with his artistry at a young age. As the years have gone by I’ve still grown up on his music and was especially excited with the release of his new album. I plan on going to his Romantic Tour and I am so happy to see that through your article that others share the same love, and that through your article audiences will also be able to learn about ones of my favorite artists. Your writing was engaging, well thought out, and detailed providing a background of information.
