“KPop Demon Hunters” is showing all animated movies “How It’s Done”, taking the world by storm and staying on charts since its release on June 20, 2025.
The movie stars three KPop stars: Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, as HUNTER/X (Huntrix), as they sing their way to the top. Not only do they sing to protect the people of South Korea, they fight demons, hence the name Demon Hunters.
Mr. Pearson, the graphic design teacher, said his young daughter enjoyed the movie, “she felt like it was cool and it made her more self confident in herself.” While “KPop Demon Hunters” is a movie targeted towards children, many students here at Millikan witnessed and appreciated the movie’s story line and relatable characters.

The fan-favorite Netflix movie has not only taken up their top ten carousel for a consecutive 15 weeks, but has become its most watched film with 266 million views and counting. Not only has the film broken Netflix’s records, its soundtrack has also had multiple songs in the Top 10 of the popular Billboard Hot 100 list since its release. As of Oct. 8. 2025, the soundtrack was even given a platinum record for the song\s “How It’s Done,” and “What It Sounds Like” sung by Huntrix and “Soda Pop,” and “Your Idol” sung by the Saja Boys. But most importantly, “Golden” by Huntrix has been awarded a double platinum for its success.
Mia Ulangca, COMPASS sophomore, loved the movie, “I have never heard such great music before in my life. That animation is really good but in all seriousness it’s just a fun comfort movie.” When asked about how she found out about the movie, she responded with mostly social media, and other people discussing it. The movie truly captured the internet and people’s attention.
Overall the movie exceeded many expectations and became one of Netflix’s biggest successes. With all of the achievements and praise, fans have been creating their own trailers and movie concepts. Now, the animators have started discussing the second movie, however nothing has been created or confirmed. Kpop demon hunters have come a long way, going up, up, up, to be golden.

As conveyed in the article, I find the “KPop Demon Hunters” having a real-time effect on the world, especially on younger generations. My younger sister is currently in 2nd grade and is obsessed. I’ve noticed changes in her demeanor right after she watched the movie, especially with her being more comfortable singing. To think that an animated movie would be this big!
I like that Keffer was able to incorporate multiple secondary opinions, allowing the article to be more engaging and feel in tune with the community. Also, I would like to complement the background information on the movie, going in depth on the songs and records that were achieved. Most articles don’t go in-depth about this stuff, assuming that the reader knows everything about the topic already. The article’s hook was impeccable, giving a quick background on the topic while also keeping it short. Overall, I found this article relevant and engaging throughout. One thing I recommend that Keffer incorporate in this article is more detailed explanations about how this film was so successful.
Sincerely,
Maxime Meredith

I really enjoyed reading this article by Keffer. As someone who loved the movie and became aware of a whole new world because of it, I was excited to see a Corydon article featuring it. It was nice to see what other people on campus thought about the movie, even months after it came out. I am glad that people aren’t as over with it as I have been hearing, and still appreciate the catchiness. There is one minor thing that I would correct, which is that “HUNTER/X” as written in the second paragraph is spelled “HUNTR/X”.
Furthermore, I was stunned when I read the last paragraph! I wasn’t sure if the creators would think about making a second movie, given it was exceptional by itself, so I am really glad that Keffer added that into her article. It was greatly informative, and greatly appreciated.
Overall, Keffer wrote an entertaining and informative article about K-Pop Demon Hunters. I always look forward to reading articles from the Corydon about pop culture and upcoming movies.

Keffer promotes the successes of the new kids movie, and also notes that many people at Millikan High School have watched and enjoyed it, too. In the introduction, I liked how she said “KPop Demon Hunters is showing all animated movies “How It’s Done”…” which is one of the songs from the movie. I also enjoyed how Keffer asked some of the staff about how their children have felt about the movie since children are actually the target audience. Also in the fourth paragraph, Rhyan says that most of the songs from the movie have gone platinum and the most popular song, “Golden” has been awarded double platinum. I like how she included this because this can make people become curious about the movie and want to watch it as well. She also asked people around Millikan if they watched and liked the movie and a COMPASS student said, “I have never heard such great music before in my life.” I also like how she uses a lot of quotes from the movie such as, “going up, up, up” which is from the song Golden. However, Keffer should always double check for grammar errors and spelling as I found some mistakes and typos. Overall, the article was great.

Keffer’s article was very informative of “KPop Demon Hunters” success and impact on the younger generation. I enjoyed Keffer’s addition of references from the movie, I think that it added a nice detail and some fun into the article. Additionally, I like how Keffer added multiple opinions and perspectives about the movie into their article. Adding these opinions and perspectives allowed me to see what other individuals thought about the movie. Before reading, I did not know how “Kpop Demon Hunters” was a success among not only younger kids, but also teenagers. It’s cool how a movie can bring together many people. As the reader, I could relate with their opinions. I also like that they added where their success came from and where it can be found. Keffer added what charts they were on for weeks and what songs got them there. This allows the reader to research on their own and listen to the songs. I think Keffer’s article brought “KPop Demon Hunters” into a positive light, informative, and easily understandable. This article will make people want to watch the movie to see what the hype is all about.
